Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is fantastic, perfect for our needs and with easy access. The rooms were spacious and clean, recently redone and very nice. The service was exceptional, friendly, and hardworking. The dining experience was simple and nice, offering a variety of choices. However, the surrounding areas were unkept and not up to par, which was unexpected given the price paid per night.
The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Arcata and other places, but the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms and common areas leave much to be desired. The breakfast options are decent, but the service quality falls short with allegations about having a pet in the room. The rate charged may not align with the facilities provided.
The hotel is a bit out of date and the rooms, although comfortable, were not cleaned every day. However, the service was extremely helpful and friendly, especially considering the General Manager personally assisted us. The location, despite being a bit confusing to access, was close to a National Park. Facilities were generally fine.
